My gift to myself this year was getting my website up and running before jetting of to Denver, Colorado to spend Christmas with my in-laws. This year I won't be soaking up the summer sun, get to enjoy our spectacular Cape Town sunsets or be working on my summer tan. I will be on icy ski slopes, enjoying a beautiful white Christmas, cuddling up in front of a fire place, sipping on egg nogg and devouring these scrumptious Christmas pies (view recipe). I think the pay-off is definitley worth it.
